Bon, an incredible street artist brought our 1st floor to life, by throwing an art exhibition at Bodega on the 22nd January 2010. The exhibition was open for a month and proved to be extremely popular. Bons art was displayed on our ground and first floor at Bodega. We were working with the Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation, bringing children to view the art and talk with the artist and be a part of something special. A percentage of the artworks sold was donated to the Bodega Project but handled by Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation in promoting the arts to local children (art supplies, gallery trips to Phuket Town, concert tickets, music lessons, canvas's to paint). click here to see some of Bon's work: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tbon

5th - 8th March 2010 - Zoe@bodega

Zoe Konez, an English guitarist, singer songwriter and guitarist, decided to add Thailand, Phuket, to her Australian tour. Zoe stayed at Bodega Hotel for this period and entertained us all! A one-woman aural assault, combining charismatic vocal energy, fast-paced and intricate fingerpicking, hammered-out rhythms, and innovative tunings.
